We looked at who is behind GenuinePurity, what its lab certificates actually show, and how the refund and trial terms work in practice.
GenuinePurity NMN is a real product from an established supplement company, Leading Edge Health, and NMN is again legal to sell as a supplement in the US after the FDA's September 2025 reversal. The brand posts certificates of analysis, but the ones we could read did not show everything you would want, such as a purity result. The 97-day guarantee is real and generous by industry standards, but it has strict conditions, and the $19 trial becomes a $49 monthly subscription.
GenuinePurity markets itself as an American longevity supplement brand. Its terms of service name the actual sellers as Leading Edge Health Inc., at an address in Victoria, British Columbia, and Leading Edge Health Limited in Limassol, Cyprus. Refund requests go to a leadingedgehealth.com email address.
That is useful to know. Leading Edge Health is a long-running supplement company that sells several other supplement brands, so GenuinePurity is not a fly-by-night operation. It also means the "American brand" description refers to where the product is made (the site says the USA, in cGMP facilities) rather than where the company is based.
The terms include a mandatory arbitration agreement governed by Delaware law and a clause that makes resellers liable for $5,000 in damages. Neither is unusual for direct-to-consumer brands, but it is worth knowing before you buy.
According to the product page, each capsule contains 250 mg of beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide at a stated 96% purity, and a serving is two capsules (500 mg). A bottle has 60 capsules, or 30 servings. The "liposomal" part is a phospholipid complex from non-GMO sunflower lecithin and phosphatidylcholine. The other ingredients are a vegetable cellulose capsule, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide and vegetable stearate.
A 500 mg daily dose is in the range used in several published NMN trials. No published study has tested this specific liposomal product, and the idea that the liposomal coating improves absorption has not been shown for it in people. Our full GenuinePurity NMN review covers whether it is worth the money.
This is the claim that matters most with NMN, because purity and actual NMN content vary between brands. GenuinePurity says every batch is tested by independent third-party labs, and it has a certificates of analysis page with two documents for Liposomal NMN, labeled "Certified" and "Vitacare."
Here is what we could and could not verify in October 2026:
So the testing is real, and outside labs were used for contaminants. But we did not see a lab-verified purity figure for the NMN product itself. For a primer on what a good NMN certificate should include, see our guide on how to choose an NMN supplement.
As of October 2026, GenuinePurity's own site advertises a 97-day money-back guarantee, which is longer than the 30 days some supplement brands offer. The terms:
That is better than many supplement guarantees, since used bottles qualify. Keep your bottles, note your delivery date and ship returns with tracking well before day 97. To keep the refund option, decide by about day 85 so returns arrive within 97 days of delivery.
The trial offer needs care. GenuinePurity sells the first 30-day bottle for $19, down from $69, but it renews automatically at $49 every 30 days. The site says you can skip or cancel at any time and that it emails before each renewal. If you only want one bottle, cancel after ordering. Heads-up: the $19 first-bottle offer auto-renews at $49 every 30 days until you cancel. Regular prices were $69 for one bottle, $65 each for three, $59 each for six, or $49 a month on subscription.
This is a fair question, because for almost three years the answer was murky. In late 2022 the FDA said NMN was excluded from the dietary supplement definition, because it had been authorized for investigation as a drug. The Natural Products Association challenged that with a citizen petition and a federal lawsuit.
On September 29, 2025, the FDA reversed its position, finding that NMN had been sold as a supplement in the US before the drug investigation began. In December 2025 it formally reinstated the new dietary ingredient notifications for two NMN ingredient suppliers. NMN can now be sold legally as a supplement, provided the seller has a valid notification or sources from a supplier that does. We could not confirm which NMN supplier GenuinePurity uses.
| Green flags | Red flags |
|---|---|
| Sold by an established company with listed addresses | Brand name does not make the parent company obvious |
| Certificates of analysis posted publicly | NMN certificates not machine-readable; no purity assay seen in the readable certificate |
| 97-day guarantee that includes used bottles | Strict deadline, shipping not refunded, one order per customer |
| Dose in line with published NMN trials | No published study on this specific product |
| NMN legally sold again since September 2025 | $19 trial auto-renews at $49 a month |
NMN itself has looked well tolerated in short human trials, but long-term safety is unknown. Skip it if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have cancer, and talk to your doctor if you take diabetes or blood pressure medicines. We cover this in our article on NMN side effects and who should avoid it. If you are weighing it against a nicotinamide riboside product, see our GenuinePurity NMN vs Tru Niagen comparison.
Yes, GenuinePurity NMN is legit as a business and a product. It is sold by an established company, the label is clear, NMN is lawful again in the US, and the guarantee is longer and more flexible than most.
Legit is not the same as proven or fully verified, though. We could not read the NMN purity results ourselves, the product has no published trial of its own, and NMN's benefits in people are still uncertain. If you buy, check your lot number against a certificate, cancel the subscription if you only wanted the trial, and keep your empty bottles in case you want a refund.
